Call to Order A special meeting of the USD #256 Board of Education was called to order by President, Patti Boyd, in the district office on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at 6:05 p.m.
Members Present Members present were Patti Boyd, Judi Knight, Brenda Swanson, Bob Rhodes, Steve Becker, and Amanda Allen. Also present were David Hardage, Doug Moeckel, and Mike Pomarico.
Brenda Swanson moved to appoint Dr. Doug Moeckel as acting clerk. Amanda Allen seconded the motion, and it carried 6 – 0.
KASB Training Dr. Moeckel and Dr. Pomarico from KASB led the board training session.
Melvin Bland arrived at the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Adjournment Judi Knight moved to adjourn the meeting. Brenda Swanson seconded the motion, and it
carried 7 – 0. The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
